Hi everyone! First, I'd like to get you smiling with this random funny!
LOL I just love that one! I hope today's post has found you well. I'm doing pretty good. Just the normal back and joint achies. *weather... blech*
What I really wanted to share with you today is about an item I taught at a paint party a little while back. This lady wanted a Santa on a board. She said she wanted it kind of big. The pic she chose was a profile view of Santa and his beard. So, I altered a design I had so that he had a little bit bigger head and a longer beard.
Here is one of my daughters (and Paint Party Helper!) working on hers. She did a great job on it, even though she's had almost no experience painting. It took most everyone longer than we thought it would to get finished. I sure will think again about doing anything so large and so detailed. LOL
They ended up turning out really cute though! It always amazes me how they can start out with the same traced image, and yet still look so different! Some have fine black outlines, some have heavy ones, and some decided to add some of their own details! I really love seeing painters bring their own vision into it!
All in all it was a fun evening, but I'll be more careful when choosing a big design next time! LOL
Have you had any little oopsies like that? I'd love to hear about them!
Bye for now! Stay happy!
